How to Live Lightly - How to increase everyday peace and happiness

  • Kadampa Meditasjonssenter Oslo 26 Majorstuveien Oslo, 0367 Norway (map)
  • Is it possible to experience happiness all the time? When we hold onto external situations, objects and relationships as the source of our happiness, our life can become a bit  ‘heavy’.

The external conditions and situations can only deliver a temporary happiness that quickly disappears.Often these conditions and situations don’t even give us the temporary relief that we expected.  Chasing such ordinary temporary happiness can cause anxiety, disappointment and frustration.

In this half day course Gen Dragpa will explain how to access and gradually develop pure and gradually longer lasting happiness, and how to nurture it every day. Gaining even just a little bit of experience of this pure inner peace allows us to live lightly. We can learn in a relaxed way to obtain a deep and meaningful joy from every encounter and situation.  Happiness training … that’s what Buddha’s practical and compassionate wisdom teachings are all about!
