A practical way of dealing with physical and mental pain

  • Kadampa Meditasjonssenter Oslo 26 Majorstuveien Oslo, 0367 Norway (map)
  • We all experience painful feelings, sometimes related to physical discomfort, illness or accidents and others related to difficult experiences that we find hard to accept or digest.

In this half day course Gen Dragpa will present Buddhas special advice for making our body and mind relaxed and peaceful so that we can both reduce physical and mental pain and still enjoy our lives even when experiencing some painful feelings.

With relaxing meditation techniques we will be able to accept, reduce and eventually eliminate mental and physical pain and lead the happy life we always wanted.

    Main takeaways for this course:

    • Experiencing a deep sense of inner peace through relaxing meditations

    • Examining pain and learning to accept a certain level of discomfort happily

    • Reducing and eliminating pain by learning not to identify with the “experiencer of pain”

    • Gen Kelsang Dragpa is the Resident Teacher at Kadampa meditasjonssenter Oslo, and National Spiritual Director for the Nordic Region.
