The Healing Practice of Taking and Giving

  • Gullnäsgården 1 GULLNÄSGÅRDEN Strömstad, Västra Götalands län, 452 96 Sweden (map)

The Buddhist meditation practice of taking and giving (Tonglen in Tibetan) is one of the most powerful methods for opening our hearts and for healing mental and physical illness.

This ancient healing technique has the power to improve mental peace and happiness, and is especially beneficial in situations where we may feel powerless to help others or to overcome adversity.

During this retreat Gen Dragpa will guide these extraordinary meditations on giving love and taking away suffering. In this way we actively contribute in removing negativity from the world and spreading loving kindness. Doing this practice we also destroy the source of our own suffering and problems, purify our sickness and increase our mental strength.

At the end of this retreat you will have developed or deepened your familiarity with the practice of taking and giving and understand how to use these meditations in your daily life to benefit both yourself and others.

Everyone welcome
