City-retreat: Healing ourself & others with Medicine Buddha

  • Kadampa meditasjonssenter Oslo 26 Majorstuveien Oslo, 0367 Norway (map)
  • A retreat where we can learn how to use the practice of Medicine Buddha to heal and remove our and others inner and outer sicknesses and obstacles.‍ ‍

Gen Dragpa will give some brief explanations on the practice and will guide the sessions. This retreat is perfect both for those who are new to Medicine Buddha practice and for more experienced practitioners interested in discovering or deepening their practice of the healing meditation associated with Medicine Buddha. No experience is necessary.

In the sessions we will generate a compassionate motivation, receive some guidance on the main aspects of this special healing practice and how to do it, recite the medicine Buddha prayers and special mantra of Medicine Buddha. There will also be time for question and answer during sessions, or discussion in between sessions.

Everyone is welcome to join in any or all of this special retreat.

The main takeaways from this retreat are:

    • We can heal and improve our body and mind through meditation

    • Relying on Medicine Buddha can help us heal mental and physical problems and sickness

    • The meditation practice of Medicine Buddha teaches us how to become completely pure and content.
