    Meditation has become universally recognized as a simple but very effective method to calm the mind, let go of stress and give rise to an experience of inner peace and general wellbeing.

    Especially suitable for beginners, this course will introduce meditation techniques that can be practiced by anyone.

    Drawing on practical wisdom advice from Buddha, Gen Dragpa will reveal methods in how to begin and maintain an effective meditation practice.

    The benefits of meditation and its power to overcome stress, be happy, stay focused and enjoy harmonious relationships will be clearly presented.

    At the end of the course you can choose one of the guided meditations to focus on and train in at home to continue to experience these benefits for yourself.

    In this course you will learn :

    • The many practical benefits of meditation

    • How to begin and maintain a stable joyful meditation practice

    • Simple breathing meditations to calm your mind

    • How to use your meditation experience in you daily life

    • Gen Kelsang Dragpa is the Resident Teacher at Kadampa meditasjonssenter Oslo, and National Spiritual Director for the Nordic Region.

      He has been practising and teaching Kadampa Buddhism since February 1993 has been an ordained monk since November 1993.

      Gen Dragpa teaches topics relevant to our modern society in a light-hearted manner, and skillfully guides meditations for us to experience a deep sense of inner peace and contentment.

    • How should I dress for class?
      No special clothing is required. Come as you are.
