One day of City-retreat

Join our one-day breathing meditation retreat rooted in Buddhist wisdom. This course is designed to help you develop mindfulness, reduce stress, and improve overall well-being through simple, effective breathing techniques.

Throughout the day, you'll learn how to cultivate inner peace, clarity, and compassion through guided breathing exercises and chanting preparatory prayers for meditation.

Suitable for all levels, it offers guided meditation, practical tips, and supportive guidance to establish a regular meditation practice, unlocking the physical, mental, and emotional benefits of mindful breathing.

Teaching in English

Course is guded by Kelsang Virya

Kelsang Virya is the administrative director of KMC Oslo and FP student , she is an ordained nun and has been studying and practising in the NKT-IKBU for over 15 years. She is a very dedicated mother, student and kadampa practitioner and loves to share her experience of meditation and Modern Buddhism with others.
