Everyone is welcome, to begin your meditation journey or to deepen and improve your meditations.

All meditations have the function to make and keep our mind peaceful. What might stops us from being peaceful? The inner problems of stress, worry, anxiety, pushing ourselves sometimes beyond what we can manage.

Meditation will help us gain control over our mind and find our inner joy and happiness and it will make our challenges in our daily life easier to deal with.

  • Gen Kelsang Dragpa is a Dutch Buddhist monk, resident teacher at the Kadampa Meditation Center Oslo and NKT-IKBU National Spiritual Director for the Nordic region.

    He is a close disciple of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche - the founder of the New Kadampa Tradition.

    He has been practising and teaching Kadampa Buddhism since February 1993 has been an ordained monk since November 1993.

    Gen Dragpa teaches topics relevant to our modern society in a light-hearted manner, and skillfully guides meditations for us to experience a deep sense of inner peace and contentment.
