Modern Buddhism
A course where we will discover the main topics of Buddhist thought and practise and learn how to use these in our busy daily lives to reduce stress and problems and increase our inner peace and wellbeing. We will also develop a special wisdom that will protect us from obstacles.
During this extended course Gen Dragpa will present the main Buddhist views and meditations found in Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche’s book Modern Buddhism and will explain their relevance for our busy modern lives.
The emphasis in the course will be on how to practically use these ideas and meditations to gain more control over our mind and to find meaning and joy in our lives.
