A Pure Mind, A Pure Life - Vajrasattva retreat

  • Nordisk Kadampa Meditasjonssenter 26 Majorstuveien Oslo, 0367 Norway (map)

26.-27.3. Attend in-person at the center or online

During this two day retreat Gen Jangdom will guide us through the practice of Vajrasattva, the Buddha of Purification. Gen Jangdom will also briefly explain how to generate four special motivations that make our purification complete.

We all wish for a happy life free from obstacles, but due to actions created in the past we carry some potentialities for difficulties and problems in our mind. By joyfully purifying these we will eliminate the causes of physical and mental problems and generate good fortune, the cause of inner peace and happiness.

Buddha taught various methods to purify non-virtuous actions, downfalls and broken commitments but the supreme method is the practice of meditation and recitation of Vajrasattva. This practice is the scientific method to purify our mind and to transform our mind from an impure state into a pure state using Tantric technology. This retreat offers us an opportunity to learn and gain deep experience of this important spiritual practice.
