Jotunheimen
Mountain Retreat

Join us for this relaxing mountain retreat where you can combine meditation, holiday, rest and walks in the beautiful area around Soleggen Fjellstue in Jotunheimen.

Gen Kelsang Dragpa will guide the retreat and give us the opportunity to discover within us a deep sense of peace and to develop positive attitudes that will increase the quality of our life.

Everyone is welcome

This meditation retreat is suitable for everyone, those who are new to meditation and those who already have some experience.

You can bring your
family or friends

they can explore the area where there are many activities to choose from while you attend the sessions.

(For family members who don't attend sessions, there will be a special reduced price - also if you lack funds please contact us to see if we can arrange a reduced price)

In this retreat we will do four optional guided meditation sessions

(1h15) a day on the full days: these consist of a relaxation meditation, a short talk, question & answer if needed and a second meditation.

The meditations will be done in the beautiful Domen – samlingsrom.

In the 3rd session we can go for a walk to do an outdoors meditation if weather permits.

There will be enough time each day to go for walks

around Læshøe, explore the mountain, visit the famous Lom Stavkirke or Lom bakeriet & Presthaugen (at Lom bygdamuseum).

There is no mobile signal on the mountain

this allows us to experience a few days of digital detox, disconnect with business and modern technology and deeply connect with our peaceful inner nature.

There is a mainline telephone in case of emergencies.

Ecological vegetarian/vegan meals will be prepared with mainly local ingredients using high quality produce from local farms.
