The Blessing Empowerment of the Great Mother Prajnaparamita

During this special event, guest teacher and Deputy Spiritual Director of the NKT, Gen-la Kelsang Jampa, will grant the blessing empowerment of Buddha Prajnaparamita – a female Buddha who is the manifestation of the perfection of wisdom of all Buddhas.
The empowerment offers a beautiful opportunity to receive special blessings that heal our mental continuum and awaken our Buddha nature. With wisdom we develop beneficial understandings and intentions that will lead us to inner peace, freedom and the pure happiness of enlightenment so that we become a truly beneficial being in this world.
Gen la Jampa will also share a special method to overcome obstacles and dangers by reciting the Heart Sutra and meditating on emptiness (the ultimate nature of reality), practiced in conjunction with a brief yet powerful practice called The Great Mother.
The Festival
The Nordic Festival of Kadampa Buddhism is open to everyone. Enjoy an inspiring weekend with people from all over the Nordic region, developing inner peace through the practices of meditation and modern Buddhism. This year the Nordic Festival will be held at Kadampa Meditation Center Stockholm and offers a rare opportunity to receive practical and inspiring teachings from the internationally renowned Teacher and Buddhist monk, Gen-la Kelsang Jampa.
The festival will be taught in clear and easy to understand English.

The festival will be available via livestreaming and by 7 days catch-up recording. Everyone who books the festival will receive a link and a passcode in their confirmation email. Then you’re welcome to choose yourself whether you attend in-person or online. Please read the following carefully to avoid disappointment:
The empowerment of Prajnaparamita will be livestreamed only. There is no possibility to see a catch-up recording of this session after the event.
To receive the commentary you must attend the empowerment.
Gen la Kelsang Jampa
Gen-la Kelsang Jampa is the Deputy Spiritual Director of NKT-IKBU and the Resident Teacher at IKRC Grand Canyon in Arizona, USA. He has studied under Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche and taught internationally for many years and is greatly admired for his clear and inspiring teachings and his ability to touch people’s hearts through his sincerity and loving-kindness.
