Resident Teacher
Kelsang Tubchen is the Resident Teacher at Je Tsongkhapa Kadampa Buddhist Centre in Norway.
She has many years of experience of teaching General Programme classes and Foundation Programme in East Kilbride Scotland and of guiding meditation retreats at Tharpaland International Retreat Centre prior to accepting an invitation to become the resident teacher in Oslo.
She is a gifted teacher with a clear mind, a great wealth of knowledge and deep spiritual experience gained in long retreat.
Tubchen is a disciple and student of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, the founder of the New Kadampa Tradition and has studied and practised both Sutra and Tantra teachings under him since 2000. She received ordination from Geshe-la as a Buddhist nun in 2003.
